Easy Street

Description - Wheat Beer

Maker - Odell Brewing Co. (Fort Collins, CO)

Notes - This one is mad-drinkable. Not overpowering on any of the flavors, just nice and sweet.

8/10

Confre Elderberry Wine

Description - Elderberry Wine

Maker - Confre Cellars

Notes - Slightly sour, but mostly bitter, I'd have to say I didn't like this one. It's a shame because I usually love fruit wines.

4/10

2007 Angeline

Description - Pinot Noir

Maker - Angeline (Russian River Valley)

Notes - A very pleasant, slightly generic red.

7/10

2005 Bookcliff Chard

Description - Colorado Chardonnay

Maker - Bookcliff Vineyards

Notes - I wasn't that impressed. The complexities were low, and the alcohol was high. Pretty forgettable.

5/10

2005 Palisade Cab

Description - Cabernet Sauvignon

Maker - Desert Moon Vineyards

Notes - This wine was like and explosion of flavors in my mouth. Full of rich oak and surprisingly hints of butter, it's one of the most complex cabs I've tasted. Amazing.

9/10

New Zealand 2008

Description - Sauvignon Blanc

Maker - Allan Scott Family Winemakers

Notes - It's amazing how easy this wine is to drink. It's light, fruity flavor drifts right over your tongue and it's gone.

7/10

Road Dog

Type - Porter

Maker - Flying Dog Brewery

Notes - The hops in this one gets dangerously close to overrunning it. Thankfully it fades into a rich flavor and incredible finish.

8/10

In Heat Wheat

Description - Hefe Weizen Ale

Maker - Flying Dog Brewery

Notes - It has a strong citrus taste, but pleasant. It's reminiscent of a corona with lime... only a wheat beer with lemon.
